Terms of Use

TextModels.tech is a reference directory. It lists 3,009 text models gathered from 17 public sources and links each one back to where it came from. It is published for information only.

Nothing here is advice. Deciding whether a model suits your purpose, complies with your obligations, or is licensed for your use is your responsibility, and should be based on the model’s own documentation and licence rather than on this directory.

The figures shown — downloads, likes, parameter counts, context lengths and prices — are collected automatically from third-party APIs and refreshed periodically. They are a point-in-time snapshot of what those sources reported, not a live feed, and the site states how old the data is.

We take care to publish only what a source actually reports, and never to estimate or infer a value. We do not warrant that any figure is accurate, current or complete. Sources change their own numbers, rename or withdraw models, and occasionally publish errors. Verify anything that matters against the original source before relying on it.

Model names, organisation names, logos and trademarks belong to their respective owners. They appear here for identification and reference only.

Listing a model does not imply any affiliation with, sponsorship by, or endorsement from its developer or host, and does not imply that they endorse this directory. We are not affiliated with Hugging Face, OpenRouter, or any model provider listed.

Every entry links out to a third-party site. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, availability, accuracy or practices. Following an outbound link is at your own risk, and the terms and privacy policy of the destination apply once you arrive.

You agree not to:

use the site unlawfully, or in a way that damages, disables or overburdens it; access it with automated tools at a rate that interferes with normal operation; misrepresent the data published here, including presenting figures as current when the site shows otherwise; or imply that HackerNoon endorses you, your product or any listed model.

The directory is free to read and cite. If you reference figures from it elsewhere, attribute them to their original source and note the date they were captured.

The site, its design, code, written descriptions and the particular selection and arrangement of its contents are owned by Artmap Inc. and protected by copyright.

The underlying facts about each model — its name, size, licence, and the metrics its host publishes — are not ours, and nothing here grants you rights in any model or in the material of the sources we draw on.

We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of the site at any time, without notice and without liability. We do not guarantee it will be available or uninterrupted.

The site and everything on it are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or accuracy of information.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Artmap Inc. is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the site, or from reliance on any information published here.

If you are dissatisfied with the site, your sole remedy is to stop using it.

We may revise these terms. The date at the top reflects the most recent revision, and continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the revised terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in San Francisco County, California.
